Description
The Commercial Building Maintenance Technician performs preventive and reactive maintenance on commercial building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, furnishings, and life-safety equipment. The role also handles inspections, work orders, inventory, contractor coordination, emergency preparedness, and documentation. A high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of commercial building maintenance experience, knowledge of building systems, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physical work are required; experience in commercial environments, trade certification, CMMS systems, and safety certifications are preferred.
