Description
The CoMET Technician performs field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt to verify that construction materials meet specifications. Duties include concrete slump, air content, and compressive strength testing; soil density and aggregate testing; reinforcing steel and proof-roll observations; sample logging; equipment and vehicle operation; and preparation of daily reports. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past three years, physical ability to work up to 12 hours in varying conditions, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
