Volvo Cars Gent is hiring an Automation Technician to analyze and resolve faults in fully automated production installations, optimize output, quality, and technical reliability, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repair or replace defective systems and components, support the introduction of new installations and car models, and train colleagues. The role requires a technical diploma, interest in automation and PLC or robot controls, strong communication and technical knowledge, independent and careful work, administrative skills, and availability for two shifts or a fixed night shift; several years of experience and English knowledge are advantageous.
