Description
The Industrial Controls Technician creates, troubleshoots, and repairs analog I/O and electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic control systems; replaces components; performs functional and operational tests; maintains backups and equipment audits; trains plant electricians and mechanics; and supports operations, sanitation, QA, R&D, and process systems. The role requires HMI and control-system knowledge, mechanical-device expertise, and three to five years of industrial equipment controls experience, with mechatronics, meat-processing, and equipment knowledge preferred.
