Ryder is hiring a Diesel Technician Trainee in Fenton, Missouri to receive paid on-the-job training and advance into a Diesel Mechanic Technician role. The position pays $23.33 per hour, follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule with weekends off, and includes ASE certification bonuses, quarterly bonuses, medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days, PTO, retirement matching, and other benefits. Responsibilities include moving and fueling heavy-duty vehicles, performing multi-point inspections, maintaining fuel and service areas, completing hands-on and online training, and performing preventive maintenance and other assigned duties. No prior experience is required, but mechanical experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, English communication skills, customer service skills, basic computer skills, and a Class A CDL are preferred or required for regulated-tech status.
