Description
Magna Steyr is hiring an Engineering Technician to support vehicle system and component testing for complete-vehicle development programs. The role performs vehicle commissioning and system-level tests, troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical issues, maintains test documentation and 5S standards, mentors lower-level technicians, and interfaces with customers and production, quality, and process-improvement teams. A high school diploma or technical/vocational education is required, while automotive technician experience, diagnostic-tool use, electrical-schematic reading, CAN bus knowledge, and five or more years of technician experience are preferred or advanced-level requirements.
