Description

First Solar is hiring a Manufacturing Equipment and Process Technician to support the installation, qualification, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes. The role includes responding to process-control alarms, analyzing yield and product-performance data, conducting experiments, training production associates, maintaining documentation, and handling hazardous materials and waste. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent plus the specified mechanical, electrical, or process technician experience, or relevant First Solar EMT/MET/MT experience. The position offers $26.97-$38.46 per hour and requires minimal travel after initial training.

Preferred Qualifications: Journeyman or other trade certification
