Description
Magna Electronics is hiring a Test Driver to safely operate prototype and production vehicles and evaluate advanced automotive technologies, including adaptive cruise control, lane centering, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, parking assist, and autonomous driving features. The role involves executing test procedures, collecting data, documenting system issues, collaborating with engineering and calibration teams, operating data-acquisition equipment, performing vehicle inspections, and preparing test reports. Candidates need excellent driving skills, vehicle-dynamics knowledge, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain specialized test-driver certifications; experience with ADAS, autonomous vehicles, or automotive prototypes is preferred. The role is regular and permanent and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
