Description
The Generator Service Technician performs repairs and service on power-generation equipment, including internal-combustion engines, electrical circuits, and mechanical mechanisms. Responsibilities include completing repair paperwork, maintaining a clean and orderly shop, attending safety meetings, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, following technical manuals and wiring schematics, cleaning equipment, assisting other technicians, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes. The role requires basic computer skills, communication skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision, including after-hours callouts and road jobs.
