Description
The I & E Technician modifies, repairs, and overhauls electronic and electrical equipment and controls in industrial energy facilities. Responsibilities include installing instrumentation and electrical components, troubleshooting control systems and complex equipment, running conduit, pulling wire, changing motors, maintaining lighting and basic motor controls, maintaining DCS and PLC systems, calibrating monitoring devices, updating electrical drawings, and providing technical support. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of electrical and instrumentation experience, knowledge of electrical codes and AC/DC voltages, a valid driver's license, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in hazardous, physically demanding, and variable industrial conditions.
