Description
The Technician I will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on BEUMER’s Individual Carrier System at Gerald R. Ford International Airport. The role diagnoses and resolves faults, conducts preventive and corrective maintenance, interfaces with SAC and PLC systems, supports upgrades and retrofits, maintains maintenance records, and follows safety and quality procedures. It requires an electrical or mechanical degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience, 0–2 years of automated material handling experience, airside security clearance eligibility, and familiarity with mechatronic systems, PLC programming, industrial communication protocols, schematics, and diagnostic tools. The position pays $24.00 per hour and requires rotating night, weekend, and holiday shifts in an airport environment.
