Description
DC Water is hiring an in-person Technician II, Construction Civil Engineering to monitor and inspect field construction of water mains, sewer lines, pumping stations, wastewater treatment projects, and other infrastructure. The role inspects contractor work, checks materials and construction quality, performs field measurements and surveys, prepares drawings and reports, calculates cut and fill, and provides technical assistance to less experienced technicians. It requires three years of progressive experience in water and sewer system construction or maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, civil engineering knowledge, technical computation and reporting skills, and a motor vehicle operating license.
