Rocket Lab is hiring a Technician III – Materials Development and Testing to prepare, test, and document composite and metallic material specimens for mechanical and thermal testing. The role involves specimen preparation, machining, instrumentation, bonding, environmental conditioning, defect inspection, and reporting in accordance with ASTM and other standards, supporting product qualification, quality assurance, and research and development programs. Candidates need an associate degree or relevant laboratory experience, materials-testing experience, composite-material testing expertise, universal testing-machine proficiency, and strong analytical and documentation skills.
