Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring an experienced Technician IV-Equipment (Etch) to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment maintenance at its Fab 4 facility in Gresham, Oregon. The role involves repairing and maintaining LAM, Tel, AMAT Etch, Novellus, and Mattson Strip systems; troubleshooting electronic, electrical, and mechanical problems; interpreting schematics and mechanical prints; documenting work; and working safely with radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid, and gas hazards. The position requires an AA degree in a technical field or equivalent semiconductor industry experience, military training, or a technical degree, plus at least five years of Etch equipment maintenance experience. It is a front-night compressed work week shift and requires participation in the Fab 4 Emergency Response Team, physical and medical clearance, and the ability to travel for training.
