TU Darmstadt is hiring a permanent Technician (m/f/d) in electrical engineering to maintain, repair, inspect, and operate fire alarm and alerting systems for the High Performance Computing Center’s data center rooms. The role includes coordinating with contractors, analyzing alarms, performing repairs, advising on planning and tenders, and participating in acceptance tests and inspections. It requires state-certified electrical engineering training, several years of technical support experience, German C2 skills, CAD knowledge, a class B driver’s license, and on-call availability. The position is based in Darmstadt, starts at the earliest possible date, and is paid at TV TU Darmstadt pay grade 09A.
