The Optical Fabrication and Metrology Technician performs precision polishing and finishing of optical and advanced materials, operates polishing, robotic, and metrology equipment, conducts dimensional and surface inspections, documents measurement data, and supports R&D and process-improvement activities. The role requires a high school diploma and at least four years of experience in advanced metrology and precision material finishing, and involves laboratory, fabrication, and cleanroom work with physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.
