Description
The Laboratory Quality Control Analyst performs analytical testing and evaluation of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods using gas chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, spectrophotometry, titration, wet chemistry, gravimetric, and sensory methods. The role also maintains laboratory equipment, evaluates test results against quality standards, manages production-related inventory, and communicates findings with minimal supervision. An associate degree in a related scientific field and at least two years of quality-control experience in a flavor, food, fragrance, chemical, or related manufacturing industry are preferred, along with sensory-evaluation experience and familiarity with laboratory practices.
