Description

The Technician, Quality Control Services (QCS) supports the Quality Control Analytical Chemistry (QC-AC) team in Oss, Netherlands. This role involves managing laboratory materials and facilities, contributing to efficient and safe lab operations, and ensuring quality within the organization. Key responsibilities include cleaning and drying reusable lab equipment, processing incoming goods, handling chemicals, reporting discrepancies, maintaining good housekeeping standards, disposing of lab waste, participating in compliance checks, responding to audit questions, adhering to regulations, and supporting lean initiatives.

Required Skills

Cleaning and drying of reusable laboratory materials.
Processing and registering incoming goods.
Management of chemicals and laboratory supplies.
Reporting deviations in incoming goods and laboratory materials.
Ensuring Good Housekeeping (GHK) and 5S within the laboratory and related spaces.
Disposal of laboratory waste according to established procedures.
Keeping up-to-date with mandatory training.
Supporting during internal and external audits.
Answering questions during internal and external audits.
Adherence to GxP, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
Active contribution to Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to make processes more efficient and reduce waste.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Preferably relevant work experience within a laboratory or quality control environment.
Good communication and social skills.
Independent, meticulous, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent command of the Dutch language.
Experience with or affinity for laboratory processes, quality controls, and GMP/GxP environments.
Technical skills for performing standard laboratory-related tasks.
