Description
The University of Bayreuth is hiring a Technician / Technical Assistant / Laboratory Technician to support the BayBatt research center. The full-time role involves operating and maintaining electrochemical and laboratory equipment, managing infrastructure, conducting safety briefings and risk assessments, planning laboratory expansions, and supervising laboratory work processes and chemical handling. The position starts on 1 November 2026, is initially limited to two years, and requires technical vocational training or laboratory experience, German and English communication skills, and familiarity with laboratory and electrical testing procedures.
