WorldQuant is hiring a Technologist to research, design, code, test, and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling, with a focus on developing and maintaining a large-scale distributed storage platform. The role involves interfacing with system users, researching platform features, and developing complementary tools. Candidates need a university degree, at least five years of experience, strong English communication skills, software lifecycle expertise including Git and JIRA, C/C++ and/or Go and/or Python, and UNIX/Linux experience; distributed storage knowledge is desirable.
