Description
The Radiologic Technologist performs standard radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, prepares and educates patients, places IVs, injects contrast, operates imaging equipment, documents images in the radiology information system, prepares films for interpretation, communicates abnormal findings, and follows infection-control and safety procedures. The role also includes rotating after-hours call, clinical instruction of student technologists, and other departmental duties.
