VARITE is hiring a Technologist - Research & Development for an onsite, nine-month contract with possible extension in Wilmington, Delaware. The role involves preparing resin and organic-reaction parts, characterizing material structure and performance with spectroscopic and polymer-instrumentation techniques, analyzing experimental results, documenting data, troubleshooting and calibrating instruments, preparing SOPs, coordinating outside laboratory testing, and maintaining laboratory safety and inventory. A BS in Chemical Engineering, Materials, or Chemistry or equivalent experience is required; polymer characterization and mechanical testing experience are preferred. The position pays $30.00 to $37.32 per hour on W2 and includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.
