Description
The Surgical Technologist assists the surgical team during operations by handling instruments and supplies, maintaining sterile setups, preparing the surgical suite, moving patients, and supporting exposure and other technical functions. The role requires three years of operating-room experience or certification through an approved accreditation body, current national certification, BLS certification within 14 days of hire, computer literacy, professional-organization membership, and 20 hours of continuing education annually.
