Description
The Automation / Controls Engineer will design, program, troubleshoot, commission, and support PLC-based control systems in manufacturing operations. The role covers PLC and HMI/SCADA development, electrical and controls troubleshooting, equipment validation, performance optimization, legacy system upgrades, documentation, safety compliance, and training for maintenance and operations teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience, at least three years of industrial automation or controls engineering experience, and proficiency with PLC platforms, industrial communication protocols, VFDs, schematics, and motion control.
