Microsoft is hiring a Technical Consultant to expand and accelerate the adoption and consumption of cloud and Microsoft technologies for United States government customers. The role combines business development, intellectual property management, operational excellence, technical delivery, customer engagement, and project risk management. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, an active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance, U.S. citizenship verification, and Microsoft Cloud background checks. Preferred qualifications include cloud infrastructure or Azure experience, Terraform and infrastructure-as-code knowledge, networking, CI/CD, zero-trust and DevSecOps knowledge, and DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $61,800-$119,000 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
