IMEG is hiring a December 2027 New Graduate Technology Designer in Naperville or Chicago, Illinois. This entry-level, full-time, in-office role supports the design and implementation oversight of low-voltage building technology systems, including IT structured cabling, audio/video, security, wireless systems, and related ICT infrastructure. The designer will assist with engineering analysis, technical documentation, project planning, client communication, multidisciplinary coordination, quality control, safety, and innovation efforts, with up to 50% travel. A relevant bachelor's degree, foundational electrical and networking knowledge, BIM and Microsoft Office proficiency, communication, analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are required; prior building-design consulting internship experience and an EIT license are preferred. Sponsorship is unavailable. The Illinois salary range is $71,000-$77,000 per year, and benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first day.
