IMEG is hiring a December 2027 new graduate Technology Designer in Naperville or Chicago, Illinois. This entry-level, full-time, in-office role supports the design, analysis, documentation, quality control, and implementation oversight of low-voltage building technology systems, including structured cabling, audio/video, security, wireless, and related ICT systems. The designer will collaborate with clients, senior engineers, architects, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams on planning, scheduling, budgets, technical documentation, and project delivery, with travel of up to 50%. A relevant bachelor’s degree, technical and analytical skills, communication, teamwork, BIM familiarity, and MS Office proficiency are required; prior building-design consulting internship experience and an EIT license are preferred. The Illinois salary range is $71,000–$77,000 annually, with medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
