Description

State Street is hiring a full-time Data Analytics & BI Engineer based in Dublin, Ireland, to build and support governed analytics products for technology financial operations. The role covers data pipelines, transformations, semantic models, dashboards, refreshable reports, data reconciliation, validation, release, documentation, and ongoing support using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. It partners with finance, FinOps, portfolio, procurement, cloud, headcount, and service-management stakeholders to turn fragmented source data into reliable, reusable reporting solutions for IT cost, Cloud FinOps, TCO, portfolio, demand, and productivity information.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on experience building BI solutions with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including Power Query, DAX, semantic models, dashboards, dataflows, lakehouse or warehouse patterns, and SQL.
Experience building data models, measures, reconciliations, and refresh processes across multiple source systems.
Experience documenting data lineage, definitions, calculations, and controls in a governed or regulated enterprise environment.
Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders to capture requirements, agree definitions, and validate results before release.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with financial, portfolio, procurement, cloud, and headcount data, and IT cost transparency concepts such as Total Cost of Ownership, showback, and Cloud FinOps.
Strong comparable enterprise BI experience.
