AEP is hiring an IT Manager – Transmission Engineering Technology to lead the strategy, delivery, support, and modernization of technology solutions for its electric transmission engineering organization. The role partners with transmission planning, protection and control, substation, line, and telecommunications teams; develops technology roadmaps; manages engineering application portfolios and projects; oversees systems, cybersecurity, cloud, integration, and operational excellence; and leads a high-performing IT team. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, at least eight years of progressive IT leadership experience, and experience supporting electric utility transmission engineering organizations. The compensation range is $136,539.00 to $177,503.00, and the posting ends on 10-06-2026.
