DTID is seeking two unpaid volunteer Technology Officers – Blockchain / Distributed Ledger Technology to support research, development, testing, and proof-of-concept work involving blockchain and distributed ledger technologies. The role involves smart-contract development, platform and protocol evaluation, architecture assessment, technical research, documentation, and collaboration with researchers and technology specialists on projects related to climate finance, energy, sustainability, and international development. Candidates should have software development and blockchain knowledge, preferably a relevant degree and experience in blockchain applications, smart contracts, cloud infrastructure, Linux, or open-source development, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote, internationally distributed team.
