Mesa Associates, Inc. is hiring a Telecom Engineering Associate I for its Power Delivery Substation engineering design team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role supports 69kV to 500kV substation telecom design projects by preparing panel views, communications single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, calculations, specifications, reports, and other design deliverables. The Associate I will coordinate with other disciplines, adhere to project scope and quality standards, support construction issue resolution, and use Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. A BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 0–1 years of progressively responsible substation telecom design experience are required; EIT is preferred.
