SpaceX is hiring a Telecommunications Engineer to design, install, support, troubleshoot, and oversee the operation of critical fiber, copper, voice, video, RF, ground-station, telemetry, and optical-tracking telecommunications infrastructure for production facilities, launch infrastructure, and spacecraft support systems. The role includes coordinating downtime, managing procurement and construction contracts, supporting field technicians, and maintaining systems across multiple disciplines. Candidates need BICSI RCDD certification or a STEM bachelor's degree, at least two years of industrial electrical engineering and medium- or high-voltage power systems experience, and the ability to perform hands-on work in demanding environments while meeting transportation, background-check, travel, and ITAR requirements.
