The Telecommunications Manager will manage the United States Park Police San Francisco Field Office Dispatch Operations Center, a 24/7 public safety answering point and 911 emergency call center. The role supervises dispatch supervisors and dispatchers, prepares the annual division budget, establishes performance standards, reviews work, and participates in regional and national public safety communication initiatives. The position requires U.S. citizenship or nationality, a relevant undergraduate or graduate education or equivalent training, at least one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-11, and completion of background, drug, and E-Verify checks. It may require on-call, evening, weekend, holiday, overtime, and shift work, and includes a possible one-year probationary period.
