Description
The part-time Health System Switchboard Operator will operate telephone control boards, paging systems, voice mail, and other telecommunication systems for Thompson Health System, dispatch incoming calls, page internal and external staff, and respond to Code situations. The role requires knowledge of switchboard and paging procedures, calm decision-making under stress, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, an associate degree is preferred, and previous operator or switchboard and customer service experience is required.
