The City of Temple is hiring a Telecommunicator to serve as a liaison between the public and local law enforcement, handling emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching, CAD and law-enforcement-system data, complaints, notarizations, transactions, and other front-desk and security-related duties. The role requires flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of customer-service or related experience, typing and 10-key proficiency, and successful completion of a criminal background check and polygraph exam.
