Description
The Telephone Operator provides a welcoming first impression for Premier Health by handling incoming, outgoing, network, and interfacility calls, providing on-call and patient information, and offering directory assistance. The role also monitors and responds to critical alarms, communicates emergencies through the public broadcast system, wireless, Vocera messaging, and on-call scheduling systems, and documents response-team and emergency logs for regulatory reporting. The position offers three shifts, including PRN work as needed, and requires high school completion or a GED, a typing test of at least 30 words per minute, and 1–3 years of job-related experience.
