Innovation At Work, Inc. is hiring a Telephone Switchboard Operator to support the Miami VA Medical Center. The role operates the hospital switchboard, answers and routes calls, responds to emergency notifications, provides paging and announcement services, handles STEMI, stroke, fire, system, and suicide-crisis alerts, notifies emergency personnel, maintains logs, and provides confidential customer service to Veterans, visitors, and staff. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of switchboard, call center, receptionist, or customer service experience, strong communication and multitasking skills, computer navigation ability, English fluency, and successful completion of a background investigation.
