Description
The Certified Professional Coder - Temp is a full-time, non-exempt role in the Fiscal department in Alpine, posted in September 2026 and open until filled. The position reviews and codes diagnostic and procedural information using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS for healthcare reimbursement, submits coding tasks in NextGen PM and NextGen EHR, supports claim creation, and educates providers and clinical staff on documentation and coding requirements. Compensation is $25.68-$32.41 per hour, with a full-time Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Applicants need a medical coding certificate or associate degree, at least two years of coding experience, relevant coding knowledge, and certification from a nationally recognized organization such as AHIMA or AAPC.
