Description
Metropolitan Community College is accepting ongoing applications for temporary faculty positions across multiple campus locations. Assignments depend on enrollment and operational needs, and temporary faculty may be assigned up to ten work units per semester for fall and spring, with additional term-based limits. The role involves preparing and delivering physics or related coursework, developing instructional materials, assessing student learning, maintaining records, communicating with students, and completing course-related administrative duties. Applicants need a master’s degree in Physics or a master’s degree in another field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline; community-college teaching experience, curriculum-development experience, and advanced degrees or certifications are preferred. Compensation is based on assigned work units or clock-hours.
