Description

L3Harris is hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer (Certified TEMPEST) in Salt Lake City, Utah, to lead TEMPEST program design, testing, reporting, and certification for systems supporting the warfighter. The role includes creating control and test plans, performing sensitivity and calibration measurements, troubleshooting, proposal support, design reviews, EMI/EMC analysis, and mentoring. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree with at least 7 years, or 13 years of related experience without a degree, along with CTP Level 1 or 2 certification and an active Secret-level DoD security clearance.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Active Secret-level DoD security clearance; TS preferred.
Knowledge of applicable TEMPEST standards and DoD/DoE requirements.
Experience with TEMPEST design for compliance and product testing.
Understanding of electromagnetic theory, emissions, coupling, and susceptibility.
Experience with high-isolation design, containment, source suppression, and RF grounding.
Proficiency with TEMPEST laboratory equipment.
