Description
The Machine Shop Technician will work in a corporate engineering research and development laboratory, machining and fabricating high-quality components and prototypes from 3-D model files and engineering blueprints. The role operates manual and CNC machine tools, uses precision measuring instruments, designs and builds fixtures, performs bench work and technical laboratory functions, and contributes creative input to engineering projects. It requires a high school diploma, proficiency in blueprint reading, shop math, geometry, and precision measurement, and at least eight years of machine-shop or related experience.
