Description
Axle is hiring a temporary Bone and Matrix Scientist to support laboratory research at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) in Bethesda, Maryland. The role involves designing and conducting independent biomedical research on bone tissue and bone cell development, developing and validating assays, performing molecular and cellular biology techniques, working with mouse models, analyzing data, and preparing scientific manuscripts and presentations. The position is scheduled for approximately 40 hours per week from December 2026 to February 2027, with possible telework and Monday-through-Saturday scheduling.
