BAART Programs is hiring a temporary, full-time Registered Counselor for a 12-week period in California. The role provides individual and group counseling to patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder, conducts assessments, develops treatment and aftercare plans, coordinates multidisciplinary care, and responds to patient grievances. Candidates must be registered as a counselor in California, have a positive and accepting attitude toward the patient population, and pass a drug screen and criminal background check; prior experience with chemically dependent individuals is a plus. The position pays $26.74 to $27.74 per hour and includes retirement, sick time, referral, bereavement, jury and witness duty, and university learning benefits.
