Description
The University of Maine is hiring temporary full-time Temporary Facilities Maintenance Worker CL1s (Housing Custodians) to clean campus residence halls and auxiliary buildings and assist with exterior tasks such as snow removal and sanding building entrances and walkways. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with starting pay of $17.80 per hour. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds for short distances, and the ability to climb stairs, work overhead, withstand temperature changes, and shovel heavy snow. A valid Maine driver’s license is preferred.
