Description
UNCW is hiring temporary, part-time faculty for the 2026–2027 academic year to teach in one or more humanities departments, including Communication Studies, English, Interdisciplinary Studies, History, Philosophy and Religion, Woman’s and Gender Studies, and World Languages and Cultures. The role covers summer, fall, and spring terms and includes course communication, student support, grading, and compliance with institutional policies. Undergraduate teaching requires a master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline; graduate teaching requires a terminal degree in the discipline. Equivalent professional experience, certifications, or licensures may be considered. The position is temporary, may continue based on department need, and does not provide leave.
