Description

MSU Denver is seeking temporary Health Career Navigators (HCNs) to join the Healthcare Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) within the Gina and Frank Day Health Institute. HCNs will support students preparing for careers in the Colorado healthcare workforce, offering guidance, recruitment, and program development. Responsibilities include student support services like advising and case management, recruitment efforts targeting diverse student populations, and program development involving curriculum leadership and partnership building.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience working with students in an academic or community-based setting, as a recruiter, advisor, case manager, educational counselor, career coach, mentor, or teacher.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in higher education, human services, or related field.
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in a related field.
Academic advising at the college level.
Experience working with diverse populations including non-traditional students, students of color, first generation college students.
