Manteo Community Health Center is hiring a temporary, part-time Lab Technician / Phlebotomist to cover a medical leave from mid-October 2026 through the end of January 2027. The role is primarily scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with additional hours possibly available. Responsibilities include venipuncture and specimen collection, preparing and labeling lab samples, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with providers and nursing staff. The position pays $19.00 to $24.00 per hour and requires blood-draw experience, attention to detail, patient comfort skills, dependability, and teamwork; certification is preferred but not required.
