Description
The EFTA Secretariat is recruiting two temporary policy officers for its Internal Market Division in Brussels. The six-month contract may be extended to a maximum of 12 months if desirable and in the organisation’s interest. The role involves handling EEA-related policy files, preparing meetings and reports, monitoring EU policy developments, incorporating EU acts into the EEA Agreement, coordinating with EFTA Member States and EU experts, and briefing internal and external stakeholders. Applicants must hold a university degree in international relations, political sciences, law or a related field, preferably have at least two years of relevant experience, and possess strong English writing skills, knowledge of the EEA Agreement and EU institutions, office-system proficiency, and working knowledge of at least one EFTA language. The position is open to nationals of the EFTA States and pays EUR 81,649.92 annually.
