Description
UNCW is hiring temporary, non-sworn Security Guards to patrol its main campus and other university-owned or leased properties. Responsibilities include foot patrols, facility access control, security-risk identification, emergency and fire-alarm response, police and traffic assistance, parking enforcement, visitor support, escorts, and crime-prevention programming. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, emergency-situation experience, a valid North Carolina driver’s license with no major violations in the past three years, reliable transportation, and initial two-week training. Possible shifts are 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., or 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., with work up to 40 hours per week and compensation of $15.00–$16.00 per hour.
