Description
Central Oregon Community College is hiring a part-time Temporary Substitute Teaching Position to provide instruction in a variety of disciplines and modalities, direct student discussion, evaluate student performance, and possibly develop curriculum. The role may be assigned to day, evening, or weekend classes at the Bend, Redmond, Prineville, or Madras campuses, or online or remotely, and requires willingness to travel and teach at various locations and hours. Compensation is $35 per hour for the first five hours, with pay after the first five hours discussed with the Dean. The position is non-represented and non-benefited, and applicants must meet minimum qualifications for transfer or career technical education classes, including relevant education, experience, and teaching ability.
